Who operates this website

Visible–Infrared Custom Fusion is personally operated and is independent of any university. Contact the site operator at visibleinfraredfusion@gmail.com about this notice, your information or a privacy concern.

What we collect and why

You can browse without an account. Email verification creates an account using your email address so you can submit enquiries and messages. Enquiries contain the contact details, project requirements and optional attachments you choose to submit. We use these to review your project and respond. Company name and technical parameters are optional. Do not send sensitive personal information or confidential project material through this initial enquiry form.

Public messages and private enquiries

Your display name, subject and message become public only after administrator approval and your agreement to publication. Your account email is not published with your message. Enquiries and their attachments are private and accessible to the site administrator. Public material may be copied by visitors; withdrawal cannot remove copies made elsewhere.

Storage and service providers

Website records and uploads are stored on an AWS server in Sydney, Australia. Private backups use DigitalOcean Spaces in Sydney. Backups are not additionally encrypted by this application. Access is restricted; they are not part of the public website.

Google Gmail delivers verification emails. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated requests and receives browser and network information when its verification component loads. These providers may process information outside Australia. Their own privacy notices explain their handling: Google and Cloudflare.

Retention and backups

Enquiries are flagged for manual retention review after 30 days; this does not automatically delete them. Accounts and messages remain until reviewed or removed by the operator. Contact us to request removal. The backup schedule is daily, with copies older than 30 days removed only after a new backup has been verified. A backup failure can delay removal. Deletion from the active site does not immediately remove retained backup copies.

Security and essential cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and bind email verification to your browser. The site does not use advertising or analytics tracking. Security controls process connection information and store keyed identifiers for rate limits. Restricted infrastructure logs may contain technical request information. HTTPS protects connections to the site.

Enquiry attachments are limited to three PDF, JPG or PNG files, 10 MB each and 20 MB total. Files are isolated and scanned with ClamAV on the server. Failed scans block submission. A successful scan cannot guarantee safety. Enquiry files are not sent to a third-party scanning service.

Access, correction and concerns

Email the operator to request a copy, correction or deletion of your information, withdraw an approved message, or raise a concern. Include your account email and enquiry reference if available. We may ask you to verify ownership before changing or disclosing private records. Requests are handled manually.
